Baseball panders to Latinos
Prior to game number 4 of the World Series, MLB thought it appropriate to recognize a Latino Legend Team. At first blush, you say to yourself, yea there is a moderate Latin constituency out there. But what about the contributions made by other nationalities? Are the Polish, English, French and Asian contributions to MLB less important than those of the Latins? America is one great melting pot, and our strength comes via unity among the diverse. Baseball should celebrate all contributions and focus less on pandering to individual constituencies.
