Wal-Mart misses boat!
Senior management at Wal-Mart claims that payroll can be paired by employing younger staff by noting that more senior employees cost more and achieve no more than that of lesser paid less senior staff. Are they not performing as requested by supervisory personnel? The problem here is poor human resource management! As employees develop their skills one would think this to be advantageous to his or her employer. This scenario doesn't work well when employees are not periodically repositioned to capitalize on their increased skill level. It is all too obvious that productivity takes a beating when skilled employees perform under their ability. However, just who's responsibility is this anyway?
