We owe Israel thanks for providing the United States the opportunity to extricate ourselves from the wrath of terrorism. We find ourselves in the "crosshairs" of terrorism due to our perceived unbalanced Middle East policies, primarily our "blind" support of Israel. If we were to put forward a more balanced approach to politics in this region, then there is a pretty good chance the United States significantly depreciates its value as a target for terrorism. How do we do accomplish this?

Renounce Israel's incursion into Lebanon and inform them as such. Right or wrong, people in the Middle East perceive Israel as terrorists and their penchant for conflict does nothing but support this perception. As long as we, the United States, continues to turn a blind eye toward Israel's policies and actions toward their neighbors, then we can expect to be painted with the same brush. Make no mistake, it is solely our relationship with Israel that brings us into the "crosshairs" of terrorism. Excluding the aforementioned, terrorists have absolutely no reason to bother with us, period. Thinking to the contrary is merely rationalizing our "blind" support of Israel.
Take note... Its' this simple...Divest ourselves of our "blind" support of Israel and we can divest ourselves of the continued need for such things as Homeland Security, etc. Which is but one of the by-products of our misguided policies in the Middle East.
